I have added a progress bar widget to the bottom of the Kanji doubles dictionary view:
The shading spectrum varies as it loads the 9 files or crosses their boundaries in a search. I may yet add an in-line caption.

Desktop app: a Japanese-English dictionary
The desktop application version of my Kanji-Doubles view of the Japanese-English edict2 dictionary is now available for Windows, Mac and linux with iPad (iOS) and Android app's to follow soon.
