basho kanji only


Here is a snapshot of Bashō haiku running left to right in rows with no kana ( only kanji are displayed.)


The next step is to selectively add colour and to make kana display optional.

In making a list of the kanji used by Bashō in his haiku, I decided to produce a version of the haiku with most kana suppressed.

I find it quite fascinating to scroll nearly 1000 rows after removing nearly as many of one hiragana character. Which do you think it was ?

Here I accidentally found a couple of kanji - an even number of them - of the same kind !

So we would accept them as man and wife !
